Lipase Blood Test

This test measures lipase, an enzyme produced by the pancreas that helps break down fats. High lipase levels can indicate pancreatic inflammation or conditions like pancreatitis, while low levels may suggest issues with pancreatic function. This test is often used to assess unexplained abdominal symptoms or monitor pancreatic health.
